Add 2 Cups unsweetened shredded coconut to 4 Cups warm water.
Strain in a milk bag.
That’s it! Really. I swear. (I did add some vanilla extract and a couple organic medjool dates to one batch to use in my coffee. :))
Soak 1.5 cups nut of choice (almond, cashew, etc) in1.5 cups water soak for 3+ hours in water
Drain the nuts
Blend nuts in a VERY powerful Blender. (I use my Vitamix) to make a pulp.
Add 1TBS vanilla, dash cinnamon, 2 medjool dates pitted and 4c water
Strain in a milk bag (Holes are smaller than cheesecloth)
Milk Keeps for 4-5 days in the fridge.
Hate to throw out the nut pulp? Me too.
Spread the pulp on a baking sheet and bake at 250 degrees for 30-40 minutes to make nut meal. Cool and store in freezer. Voilia
