First workout of the new year? An active recovery day of yoga (with one of my favorite workout partners). Not my usual HardCORE type of workout but my body was speaking so I decided to listen. It hasn’t always been easy for me to incorporate low intensity workouts into my routine (Am I the only one??????) but as my workouts get more intense I realize it’s a balancing act to stay healthy, flexible, strong, and happy. And I use to spend an hour and 1/2 to 2 hours in the gym for years. Now I workout about 30-40 minutes (unless I’m teaching a 60 min class) and getter done. What’s your plan for 2016 to stay happy and healthy?
